Waiting for Tomorrow

Marriage is the strongest bond the world has ever known. It is a pledge meant to last a lifetime.

A wedding ceremony occurs when a bride and a groom solemnly pledge themselves to one another for a lifetime, some say for eternity, in the presence of friends and family.

Celebrated today, as it has been throughout history, even to Biblical days, marriage and a wedding have been considered a sacred and solemn yet happiest event. Every culture considers a wedding, when the bride and groom enter their marriage as two individuals and becoming inextricably a part of each other, creating a new family, as the highest of all celebrations.

As the saying goes, Love makes the world go around.

Most cultures celebrate the love, devotion and commitment called wedding, with unique customs and traditions. Because the wedding is a wonderful and touching event, brides and grooms want both ceremony and reception to be personalized and unique to them. Thus, they look for meaningful experiences and often adopt customs and traditions of cultures other than their own.

The USA and recently to many other countries have become homes to people from all over the world. These people enrich the cultures with their Old Country customs, traditions and cuisine. It is not a surprise then, that many of the wedding traditions and wedding customs that are so beautiful, have been adopted by brides and grooms of all backgrounds who found them meaningful. In fact some traditions have become an integral pare of the modern wedding ceremony and reception.

Latin and Mexican Customs and Traditions

Latin and Mexican wedding customs and traditions are very symbolic and many are being integrated into other than Mexican weddings. Brides and grooms asking to learn about Mexican and Latin wedding customs and traditions prompted the writing of this article. If you can add, please send us the me any information you have.

Who Pays for Wedding

Both families are involved in planning the wedding and help with all the expenses.
Sponsors of the wedding, such as parents, grandparents, godparents other relatives and friends as well as the bridesmaids and groomsmen, provide money for the wedding costs, or pay for something specific for the ceremony or the party which follows. In the Mexican tradition the wedding bridesmaids and groomsmen are paired and each pair is considered for a different role in the wedding ceremony.

One pair provide the bouquet for the bride. Another furnishes the Lazo which is a special symbolic rosary used to show the unification of the couple during the ceremony. Yet another pair brings the 13 silver or gold coins - Arras - in a special basket or box for the ceremony and if there are only 3 pairs, they also provide the kneeling pillows for the bride and groom to kneel upon during the wedding mass.

Wedding Invitations

In the Mexican tradition, the wedding invitations that are in usually in Spanish and English, list the parents of both the bride and groom as those inviting the guests to the wedding. All of the wedding attendants and contributors are listed on the wedding invitation and their special contributions noted. Information about the reception and dance are either printed on the invitation or included separately. The guests must remember to bring the entire invitation to gain admittance to the festivities.

Lazo - Lasso

A lazo (lasso), is a large rosary, a ribbon or a decorated cord that is symbolically draped around the necks or shoulders of the bride and the groom, groom first. It is placed in a horizontal figure eight (infinity) while they are kneeling at the altar, to affirm their union and their commitment to always be together side-by-side. The lazo is associated with a wedding prayer and takes place during the ceremony, after the bride and groom have exchanged their vows. Optionally, the lazo may be tied around their wrists.

The couple wears the lasso throughout the remainder of the service.

At the end of the ceremony, the lasso is removed and is given to the Bride as a keepsake.

Though not a Latin country, a wedding ceremony in New Zealand features the Infinity Loops (Lasso) placed around the necks of the bride and the groom, to symbolize their never-ending love.

Arras - Thirteen gold coins

The groom gives the bride thirteen gold coins blessed by the priest. The 13 coins represent the Christ and his 12 apostles. The Arras is given to the bride as a symbol of the unquestionable trust and confidence the groom has in her.

Most often, he presents them in an ornate box, a silver or gold jewelry box, or on a siver or gold gift tray.

Doing so, he also pledges to be a good provider and to support and care for his bride as she becomes his wife.

By accepting thes arras, the bride pronounces her unconditional trust and confidence in her groom.

These coins become a part of their family heirloom.

Wedding Music Dance and Celebration

Aztec love of music, dance and celebrations was incorporated into the festivities which follow the religious ceremony.

Money Dance

Originating from most European countries, the money dance has become so popular across all weddings that a special Purse - Money Bag is one of the items present with the wedding accessories collection. Called in the USA the dollar dance, is where male guests "pay" to dance with the bride. Various methods are used by different cultures. In some, the bride carries a Purse and the dancers place monetary bills in it, in others the dancers pin the bills on the wedding gown, yet in others, the maid of honor wears an apron and collects the money given by the guests to dance with the bride. In all traditions, the guests are expected to be generous when "paying" for a dance with the bride. since the money collected is to be used by the newly weds on their honeymoon and for setting a household.

The money dance is so widely accepted as an integral part of a wedding, that most guests anticipate that it will be included in the celebration providing a way for brides and grooms to generate cash without requesting or even suggesting money as wedding gifts.

Attire

Brides in many Latin-American countries wear a light blue slip beneath their dresses. Ties and cummerbunds of the groomsmen match the colors of the bridesmaids' dresses. The flower girls and ring bearer may be dressed as miniature versions of the bride and groom.

Wedding Colors

The bride chooses the wedding colors and they dominate. The wedding cake is decorated in her wedding colors. The cars used by, or for the attendants are also decorated with matching colored ribbon and paper flowers. The ceremony site and the pew bows are decorated with flowers and bows in the wedding colors as are the flowers or petals on the bridal path. The reception site also reflects use of the colors chosen by the bride .

Piniata

Mexican wedding often feature a heart shaped piniata.

Most people think that selecting the perfect acoustic guitar is a simple task, but whether you are a beginner or an expert, choosing the right guitar can be a very difficult decision.

For most beginners an acoustic or classical guitar is a great choice because it is easy to use and requires almost no accessories.

The first step in selecting the perfect acoustic guitar is to do your research. With so many different products, manufacturers and styles of guitars available on the market, musicians need to be well informed. Talk to the sales people at your local music store and ask as many questions as possible.

The second step in selecting the perfect guitar is deciding which type of guitar you want to play: Acoustic or Classical. Classical guitars use nylon strings which produce a soft, mellow sound, while acoustic guitars use steel strings and produce a bolder, stronger sound.

The third important step in choosing an acoustic guitar is whether you want six or twelve strings. Twelve string guitars require much more precision and skill than a six string guitar. If you are a beginning player it is always recommended to start playing with a six string guitar and as your skills increase move on to a twelve string guitar.

The fourth step in selecting the perfect acoustic guitar is choosing the right body type. The body of the guitar is split into three separate parts: a top bough, the waist and the bottom bough. The waist is the narrow part in the middle of the body and the boughs are the bulges above and below the waist. Having a seamless fit between the body of the musician and the body of the guitar is very important for comfortable playing.

The fifth step is to select the type of wood the guitar body is made from. Most guitar bodies are made from a top, a bottom and a single band of molded wood for the sides. Each has a sound hole cut out of the center which emits the sound from the strings. Guitars can be made from either laminated wood or solid wood. Laminated wood guitars are less expensive and deliver average to excellent sound. Solid wood guitars can be very expensive but deliver exceptional tones and superior sound.

The sixth step for buying the perfect guitar is to test it out. When trying out new guitars always try to play the same musical selection. This will allow you to hear the different tones and sounds available from model to model. If you are a beginner and don't know how to play, ask one the sales associates to play a sample for you. Most employees in music stores play instruments themselves and are always willing to show off their skills.

The seventh and last step to selecting the best acoustic guitar is to know your budget. Acoustic guitars can cost as little as fifty dollars and as much as thirty thousand. Look around in music stores, online and in local pawn shops to find high quality guitars at reasonable prices.

Follow these steps and you'll own the guitar of your dreams in no time!

The esteban guitar is a great acoustic guitar for beginners. You can pick one up at our as seen on tv product site.

Their Eagerly Awaited Debut Full Length. Garnered Rave Reviews on their Nme Tour with Shack, Gomez and Bellatrix. Often Compared to Radiohead and Jeff Buckley.
    Customer Review: Baa Baa Baa
They can play their instruments - about as inventively as 14 year olds, picking up a guitar for the first time. They do write their own songs - in that tired old vein of British pop, everything's the same. The singing is a joke - why do the sheep take that whole falsetto bull**** so seriously? If you buy this - you're over 20 and slowly your braincells are crumbling, soon you'll spend every Sunday shopping with your partner, drink half a bottle of wine a night, you'll tut at children with any hint of life, you'll begin to get indignant about manners, you'll find Terry Wogan funny ... and then you'll die, having only ever listened to mid-tempo soft rock.
    Customer Review: GREAT ALBUM
This CD is moody. If you want really uplifting music, this isn't the best album to pick up. The musical talent displayed in this CD is amazing. They have great guitarists, an amazing drummer, especially on the track Trouble, and great vocals and piano, both done by Martin. Great CD.

One of the most popular, if not the most popular, shows among kids is High School Musical. This show now has two movies, with a third on the way, and has become an unbelievable phenomenon that has made stars out of the actors in the show, and turned millions of kids onto music.

Obviously, when something becomes this popular, it is only a matter of time before your kids start asking for a High School Musical-themed birthday party. So what ideas are good for this type of birthday party? Below are just a few examples.

    Send The Invites

You can go two routes in terms of invitations. You can use invitations that come with the High School Musical party supplies, or you can go a step further just by using your computer. Print off tickets for the kids so they can take the tickets with them and get entry into the party at your house. Make it look like they are tickets to a special High School Musical show, starring your child. If a child forgets to bring their invite, no worries, let them in. You can even stamp their hands for reentry, just to add a bit more style to the whole thing.

    Watch the Movies

What would a High School Musical-themed birthday party be without watching the movies? So, rent the movies, if you don't already own them, and treat the kids to the movies while you prepare the rest of the birthday party. It is up to you if you want to show both of the movies, or just one of them. If you only have time for one, ask the kids which one they want to see and then go with that one for the kids to watch.

    Dance Competition

One big thing about High School Musical is the dancing. Everyone in the movies dances, so get the kids dancing too. You can even have a dance contest that will have the kids showing their stuff on the dance floor. At the end of the dance contest, award everyone an individual award so that no one feels out of place. You can range it from "Best Dancer" and "Killer Moves!" to "Wackiest Dance" and "Future Star!"

High School Musical is unbelievably popular and if your child wants a High School Musical-themed birthday party, you need to be ready to provide it. However, thanks to creativity and some birthday party supplies, you can create a birthday party they will remember for a very, very long time.

There has developed a new craze in Britain in recent years. You can see it wherever you go; people walking or even riding bicycles, carrying a cardboard carton of the stuff. Yes, you guessed it, it's the coffee craze. The coffee experience has taken over from the can of cola and the coffee vocabulary litters our speech.

In America coffee drinking became particularly popular with the birth of a well known chain of coffee shops. In the cafs of Europe, particularly Italy, Spain and France, strong coffee has been the beverage of choice for centuries.

Drinking coffee has become so addictive that people will even queue up to be served their favourite variation, be it latte, espresso, mocha or a plain americano. One chain of coffee shops sells at least forty different blends of coffee from all over the world. There are blends from Latin America, Africa, Arabia, Asia and even Europe, as well as mixed blends and decaffeinated versions.

Coffee shops and cafs have popped up everywhere, in cities, towns and villages across the country. This phenomenon seems to have been caused by the desire of the youngsters of today to have a place to meet friends and do business as well as shoppers seeking refuge for their sore feet. Indeed coffee shops seem to be taking the place of the pub for many people.

Some business people even set up their offices in coffee shops; with the advent of wireless connections for their laptop computers and the ever present mobile 'phone, nobody actually needs to actually be in their office in order to work. This situation is ideal for informal business meetings as the atmosphere is much more relaxed than it would be at their place of work.

The coffee experience has now become such an important part of life so caf owners need to look to their laurels if they are to survive. Customers are becoming far more selective when it comes to choosing the venue for their coffee drinking and the choice of products has a bearing too. With all the competition, only the coffee shops which provide the most comfortable atmosphere and best variety of coffees, well made, together with accompaniments such as pastries, cakes and biscuits will attract the most custom.

Customers expect not only different blends and origins of coffee these days but different flavours too such as cinnamon, hazelnut, nutmeg and chocolate. Not only must the coffee be well made and flavoursome but a wide choice of additives needs to be available. Gone are the days when white sugar would do; now there must be brown sugar, sugar crystals, honey and low calorie alternatives. The whiteners may include whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk, pouring cream, whipped cream and low fat powdered creamer. People aren't just looking for a drink but a whole experience when they go for a cup of coffee.

Consumers are even tiring of the more traditional ways of making coffee and are demanding that it be blended with cola, jam or spices usually associated with making curry. There are almost no lengths to which the coffee fanatic will not go to enhance the coffee experience.

    Seven Year Surrender

The exceptionally talented Jazz artist Freddie Hubbard has released him CD entitled Face To Face. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Freddie Hubbard fans, and Jazz fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Face To Face Freddie Hubbards artistic excellence is on full display as Hubbard has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.

The CD kicks off with a great track, All Blues, that I suspect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.

Face To Face is a pleasantly varied, mix of 5 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly talented artist. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

I give Face To Face my highest recommendation. It just plain belongs in any serious music collectors collection regardless of genre preference.

While the entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 2 - Thermo, track 3 - Weaver Of Dreams, and track 5 - Tippin.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - All Blues. This is a great track!

Hip-hop music has come a long way. Groups using this musical style have come and go. But perhaps, the one that has stayed longer in the music scene and has gained much international fame is none other than the Black Eyed Peas. Kudos to the guys willi.i.am (William Adams), apl.de.ap (Allan Pineda), Taboo and Fergie -- for doing a terrific job. Already with two Grammy Awards for their American hip-hop music and more than 20 million albums and singles sold, this group from Los Angeles, California, continue to reap their rewards around the world.

Black Eyed Peas success can be attributed to the groups unique style. Their music focuses on socially-relevant issues which are very unlike the violent lyrics of the gangsta rap groups. They also incorporated dance into their style with the members having their own unique clothing as well. Now thats style and once you have it, you will never fade.

The Black Eyed Peas now have several chart-topping hits to their credit. Their very first major hit Where is the Love? came from their Elephunk album released in 2003. It reached the 8th spot on the US Hot 100 and topped the charts in the UK where it stayed for six weeks and became the best-selling single in the same year. The song also topped the Australian music charts for six weeks. The Elephunk album produced their second hit Shut Up which stayed at the second spot in the US and topped the charts in France, Germany and Australia. The third hit from the album was Hey Mama which got featured in the first iPod Silhouette TV commercials. The album envetually went gold and platinum in the U.S., U.K., Germany and other European countries.

Black Eyed Peas earned its first Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2005. Their song Lets Get It Started was responsible for the award. Originally titled Lets Get Retarded, the song was restyled to fit an NBA Finals commercial which was aired worldwide. The lyrics were changed to suit a basketball theme replacing the originals message on getting intoxicated and partying. As expected, the song attained tremendous success reaching the 21st spot on the US Hot 100, 11th spot in the U.K. and 2nd spot in Australia. Apart from the Grammy, Lets Get It Started also led Black Eyed Peas to be featured in The Urbz: Sims in the City videogame where they played as characters. The game features their award-winning song and Shut Up.

William Adams said their groups name Black Eyed Peas was influenced by the band that also used food for its name, Red Hot Chili Peppers. He added that black eyed peas are food for the soul and they want to be just like that to people who appreciate their hip-hop style of music. Adams and Allan Pineda a.k.a. Apl, who is proud of his Filipino background, have been together way back in 1988 when they were only starting out as rappers in L.A. Now, with two other members added to their group, they continue to make waves around the world with jampacked performances. And not only is the group making great music because unknown to many, Black Eyed Peas is also involved in a social program to help suffering children worldwide through its Pea Pod Foundation. Now this group truly has a heart and deserves all the success it has earned.

The harpsichord is related to the organ and the piano, to mention a couple that have been created with the same idea of the harpsichord. The harpsichord was developed around the same time that the clavichord came around, which was sometime during the 16th century. It is a stringed instrument that is played by pressing on the keys. When each key is pressed, it strikes the string and this is what causes the string to vibrate in order to make a sound.

For a while, the harpsichord was a popular instrument that was often used during the baroque music period. Its popularity may have been maintained had it not been for the creation of the piano. Once the piano was created, popularity fell from the harpsichord as the piano became the preferred instrument.

The harpsichords design is not too different from that of the piano, probably because the basic design of the piano originated from the harpsichord. The sounds produced from the strings of the harpsichord alone are not very loud. In order to enhance the sound, each string is set over a bridge that allowed the string to vibrate freely. The harpsichord also resembles the piano in appearance when one takes the time to compare the two.

With such similarities, one might wonder why most would abandon the harpsichord for the piano when the piano was invented. It could have been that the piano was more efficient and more versatile than the harpsichord, though the harpsichord is still played today in modern music. While it may never again be anywhere near as popular as it once was, the harpsichord appears to still have a place in music and it might never be obsolete. While it shares similarities with the piano, it is still its own unique instrument that offers its own unique sound.

While most will favor the piano over the harpsichord, there are some who play the harpsichord because they like the sound. It is not an overly complicated instrument to learn how to play. Someone who has interest in learning how to play it and finds a good teacher will have little trouble. The sheet music is also fairly basic and few will have much difficulty in gaining good control of the instrument. Someone who is familiar with playing the piano will have even less difficulty because the basics are more or less the same.

Finding a harpsichord to play might not be as easy as finding a piano, but they are still being constructed. Finding a used one might the best idea for someone who is new to playing the instrument, because a new one can be quite expensive. Finding a teacher who can teach the harpsichord may also prove easier than one would think. Again, the basics of playing the harpsichord are not too different from the basics of playing the piano. They are related instruments and share many similarities that make it possible for one to have little trouble in playing both. The harpsichord is certainly an instrument that is worth the effort for anyone interested enough to give it a try.

Customer Review: Rosetta Stone V3-Spanish (Latin America) Level 1,2,3
I purchased this for my college-aged daughter so that she could become proficient in Spanish. This has given her the practice she needs that the classroom (high school) did not.
Customer Review: Great Addition to School Learned Spanish
I took 17 hours of Spanish during my undergraduate degree, but could not speak Spanish. I could read Spanish, but I could not understand it when spoken. Rosetta Stone takes a different approach to teaching Spanish than my university. It has made understanding and speaking Spanish within my reach. I had a strong vocabulary base, but Rosetta Stone has helped me to be able to speak and use this vocabulary in everyday conversation. This is a great complement to any Spanish curriculum. It is a wonderful option for those who couldn't learn Spanish "the old fashion way."

Dance has been an important part of rituals, celebrations and entertainment since before the birth of human civilisation. In the beginning, before we had written language to record things, the purpose of dance was often to tell stories and to pass them down to future generations.

The story of dancing in Cuba

In Cuba, as in ancient times, dance tells its own story. The passion and energy of Cuban dance reveals the strength and conviction of the Cuban people, determined to enjoy life despite 'la lucha' (the struggle) of living in a strictly regulated country where the average monthly wage comes in at around 400 pesos - less than 10.

The richness of Cuban music and dancing also tells the story of Cuba's melting pot of cultures. From the high-stepping flamenco brought by the Spanish settlers in the 15th century to the frenzied tribal dances of the West African slaves, dancing is in the blood of the Cuban people.

From the teenage girl in denim shorts to the cigar-seller on the street corner, Cubans are given to break into spontaneous dance steps. Furthermore, the people dancing on the streets of Havana are likely to be just as good as the professionals, because in Cuba dancing is simply a way of life.

    The variety of Cuban dances

Cuba boasts a huge range of dances including classical ballet, contemporary, flamenco and folk dancing. But it is the partnered routines that appeared in Havana dancehalls between the 1920s and the 1950s - Salsa, rumba, mambo and cha-cha-cha - that can be seen in every Cuban bar, club and street. Of these, Salsa is the most popular dance internationally.

Since the name 'Salsa' (it's Spanish for 'sauce') was coined, Salsa dancing has exploded in popularity in Latin America and across the world. Salsa dancing classes are now hugely popular but to really get into the swing of it a Salsa holiday in Cuba itself is a must.

    Tips for Cuban Salsa dancing

If you do take yourself on a Cuban holiday, you'll have the unique experience of watching Cubans Salsa dancing. It sometimes appears that by some genetic aberration they have been born with super flexible joints, defying physics to carry out all the complex manoeuvres they have integrated into the dancing. Their remarkable twisting body movements and natural sense of rhythm will dazzle you.

If you have the right technique, Cuban Salsa is easier to learn than many other forms of dance. The basic footwork is a fairly simple walking motion, pausing every fourth beat, and there are some six basic steps you can follow to make sure you're on the right tracks.

    1 Relax

To dance Cuban Salsa well it is important not to rush, but to relax into the steps. Movements should be precise and deliberate in addition to being flowing and smooth.

    2 Walk with purpose

Salsa dancing involves a continual circular motion. Couples walk around each other with an imaginary axis between them. This makes turns look smooth and effortless. Walking gives time to untangle your arms after each turn.

3 Have confidence in your lead

The leader (usually the man) should have constant tension in his arms, while his hands guide his Salsa dancing partner around the floor. There is no need to clamp onto each other's hands, only to use the right amount of tension to provide a leading signal.

    4 Be flexible when following

In order to follow well, ladies should try to match the tension of their partner. The exception to this is when arms need to be relaxed and flexible to complete arm-twisting Salsa moves without injury!

5 Keep balanced when you spin

The key to all the spectacular spins in Salsa is not to lose your balance. One way to do it is by spotting while you spin - focussing on one spot at each turn - an age-old dance technique.

    6 Use your body

In Salsa dancing, ladies should make use of their body and be sensual, playful and creative. This can involve some creative arm movements, going with what feels right and basically showing off a bit. Enjoy!

One of the most famous experiments in physics is a simple yet profound example of the dual nature of light. It is called the "two-slit experiment." It was first conducted by English polymath, Thomas Yong around 1800 and validated the wave theory of light, overturning Newton's corpuscular ideas. Neils Bohr used it to develop the Principle of Complementarity showing that light was both a particle and a wave and no description of light was complete without referencing both. It was also at the heart of Einstein's famous thought experiment called the EPR Paradox, designed to show the incompleteness of quantum theory. One of the most intriguing aspects of the experiment is that you find exactly what you expect to find. It validates light as both a particle and a wave. How can this be? Well, that is the very question physicists have been trying to answer for over 200 years.

The experiment is very simple. A steady laser beam of light is aimed at a target. Two devices with slits which can be individually opened or closed are placed side by side in the path of the light beam. When only one slit is open, all of the light travels through it and hits a target on the other side of the slit in a bullet fashion. This demonstrates the particle nature of light. When both slits are open, the pattern on the target looks exactly like waves which are interfering with one another. The most puzzling thing is that these same patterns emerge when the light is sent in a steady stream or when one photon is released at a time.

There are two main conclusions which physicists have drawn from this experiment. The first is that you find what you are seeking. If you set up the experiment with one slit to detect particles, that's what is produced on the target. If you set up the experiment to detect waves, that will be the pattern produced regardless if it is a steady stream of light or one photon at a time.

As physicists attempted to come to grips with these results, some exotic theories arose. Some called into play the hidden variables found in entanglement experiments. Others suggested that each particle somehow "knows" beforehand which path to take so that it mysteriously cooperated with all of the other particles yet to be fired. Einstein even suggested a pilot wave ahead of the particle that served to guide it.

Physicist David Bohm developed a most intriguing theory. He described the two-slit experiment as photons dancing to a musical score. The score came from what he called the Seamless Whole which acted as a pool of information. This Whole included the physicist, the laser, the photons within the laser beam, the slits and the target, or measuring device. After the experiment was set up by the physicist, all elements of it became known to the Whole. For example, the conditions under which the experiment would be conducted was one element in the overall pool of information in the entire system. If the experiment were set up with one slit open to detect particles, that condition became a "known" element in the entire system. The photons then, simply went along with that information. In other words, they danced to that music. When the experimental conditions were changed, i.e., when the music changed, the photons simply did another dance in accordance. The photons didn't have to have prior knowledge of anything nor was an observer necessary.

Prior to the introduction of Bohm's theory, all of quantum physics had been absorbed in determining the state of a system in the present and the prediction of how that system would be in the future. This description was muddled in murky probabilities. Bohm's theory described the genuine motion of particles over time, not just the probability of where any one would be at any one time. This solidified the idea that the universe must be seen as a whole system and that anything which can be said of its individual elements at any one instance is only a partial description at best. Bohm's theories eventually came to be referred to as Bohmian Mechanics.

One of the interesting features of the two-slit experiment is that it allows a thing to be realized in two different ways. But, our daily experience would lead us to believe the words of Gertrude Stein in that "A rose, is a rose, is a rose." We can accumulate different sensations of it by looking at it, smelling it and even touching it, but alas, it remains a rose. But, the two-slit experiment demonstrates a thing becoming a wave. That's like a door knob turning into a sound depending on how you observe it. The entire concept is mind-boggling. Of such things, Heisenberg said, "What we learn about is not nature itself, but nature exposed to our methods of questioning." Perhaps someday we will have a broader concept of nature that will give the two-slit experiment a fitting context so that we can better understand the question we are asking of it.

Downloading music online may be on the lips of many music enthusiasts nowadays but to the uninitiated, it can be pretty confusing and sometimes difficult for the individual. Let us look at what the whole idea of downloading music online at membership sites that offer unlimited music downloads is all about.

Listening to music on CDs is now pass. It is not meant to sound offending but this is especially true amongst the younger generation today. Teens and young adults born after the 80s are now turning to digital music in MP3 format rather than playing music CDs on the portable CD player, which some of us affectionately remembered as the CD Walkman.

The reasons for choosing online music are obvious. Technology is so advanced that you do not have to carry a whole CD rack anywhere you go just to enjoy all your favorite songs. If that sounds exaggerating, a CD player packed with your favorite CD can at most offer you 20 of your compiled songs at max in exchange for you lugging the 6 inch gadget around in a bag. Contrast this with a small little gadget with the size of a matchbox or cigarette box that stores hundreds of songs, it becomes blatant why flocks of people are downloading music online.

It is affordable for most folks to download music files at iTunes if you are looking for one or two of your favorite hits. Though the selection is marvelous, with tons of songs, music and music videos and seemingly unlimited music downloads, however, it soon became clear to music enthusiasts that buying music to beef up their collection is denting their pockets. Now the juicy news is that there are new download sites that have sprung up, offering unlimited music downloads, including the latest soundtracks, music videos etc to members at incredibly low one-time prices. Imagine being able to download unlimited music files for the price cheaper than 2 DVDs. Isnt that awesome?

Human beings are creatures of dilemma. When the choices are few, we grumble about the lack of choices. But when the download sites are numerous, we complain about the difficulty to select the right membership download site. Fret not, as there are a few quick tips to select an ideal site for unlimited music downloads.

    1. Selection of Music

Be sure to search through the catalogue and stick with the one that offers you the right songs you wish to download.

    2. Ensure Format Compatibility

The format of music files offered must be compatible with your portable media player, ie MP3 player. Look for sites that offer MP3 ready music files to save you the headache of converting the music files into playable format ie MP3.

    3. Compare Pricings

Look at the pricing of each download site. All sites offer millions of files, and it is not wrong to say that they provide access to unlimited music downloads. As a smart consumer, paying the same price for 20 million songs at Site A rather than for 10 million songs at Site B sounds like a better deal isnt it? However, be sure to check the selection.

I believe that this article has given you a brief introduction to the online world of unlimited music downloads. You can pick up more detailed tips on how to select a great music download site that suits your preference and read a review of the most popular sites at my blog.
